This beautifully-presented villa is a glittering contemporary jewel nestled on a hillside, high above the pristine beach of Surin.
The interior is caringly equipped with exquisite furnishings by contemporary designer brands and offers maximum comfort. Much time was taken to give the accommodation lots of lavish decorating details.
A few steps from the main entrance take you to an expansive open-plan living and dining area, decorated in a cream and pink leather. A wall of fully-retractable windows provides spectacular views across the turquoise Andaman Sea.
The large dining table comfortably seats eight next to the ultramodern designer kitchen, which is well-equipped with top-quality Gaggenau household appliances and an oversized cabinet fridge. Clever design and attention to detail is evident in the sliding doors which retract into wall pockets, but which can be closed to shut off the kitchen area when extra privacy is required.
Stepping out of the living area is an access to the perfect atmosphere of relaxation with gorgeous panoramic ocean view. This is an extensive terrace combined with 25sqm infinity-edged swimming pool, stylish outdoor shower, large sala complete with curtains for additional privacy, an extensive decked area and a comfortable seating and dining section, with overhead glass canopy which enables the area to be used in all weathers. There are automated, fully-retractable overhead shades which make this into a delightfully cool relaxation spot during the sunniest days. The whole area also benefits from an integrated sound system.
You will reach a mezzanine floor from living area. Stairs lead you down to a large room, which is currently in use as an entertainment room and office. But it could easily be adapted to a third en-suite bedroom if required. The 60-inch plasma TV on the wall provides a variety of both satellite and cable channels, enhanced with a Blu-Ray DVD player and the central sound system for the house.
The hallway leading to the lower floor is a feature in itself, with beautiful Thai murals covering the walls with fiber-optic lights and blue shining lighting.
The guest bedroom with large en-suite shower room can be found at the end of the stairs. This is a bright and spacious room. Thanks to the large windows which open to the garden area. The room is full of added features such as the intricately-detailed paintings on the wardrobe doors, as well as a buffet area with tea and coffee making facilities. There is a vaulted ceiling above the bed area which allows great circulation of the cooling sea breezes which this villa benefits from so extensively.
On the opposite side of the hallway is a private Spa. The room is fully-equipped to a high standard with all items necessary for the ultimate massage and spa experience. Two of the in-house staff can provide massage and all other services can be arranged through the staff such as pedicures, manicures and small cosmetic procedures if required. There is a large day bed with rich silk covers and sumptuous cushions to aid relaxation. The en-suite bathroom is state-of-the-art, with optimum quality products and exquisite design.
On the outside of this level you will find a deck area for quiet relaxation and a small enjoyably nice garden. To the side of the house is a spectacular 3 tone Buddha set within an impressive water feature which is beautifully lit in the evening. Also this area is a barbecue section featuring a 6-burner gas barbecue with a retractable canopy above as well as a large two-person half moon chair with canopy. Besides the Buddha, there is an exquisite, intricately-carved double wooden doors give access to the quiet private roadway below.
The master retreat lies on top of the property covering the entire top floor. Here you can enjoy every aspect of the perfect location, an overwhelming view to the Andaman Sea as well as the fresh sea breeze and the innumerable shades of blue and green along the hillside.
The master bedroom area has a 50 inch flat-screen TV, Blu-ray DVD player, plus a computerized mood lighting and sound system. It is opulently decorated with gold-leaf lacquered tiles to the rear of the bed, and richly ornate Thai-style paintings to either side. A lavish crystal chandelier descends from the cathedral-style wood-lined ceiling for an added touch of decadence.
Retractable doors open onto a deck area with an oversize day bed and large picture window above. The doors also allow natural light in the master bedroom.
Access to the en-suite bathroom is given via a buffet area, equipped with a coffee-maker and small fridge. Behind this area is a large dressing area with expanses of wardrobes providing extensive storage space, as well as a substantial personal safe.
The large en-suite bathroom is designated with twin wash basins, large mirrors which add to the feeling of space, a vanity area and a generously-proportioned walk-in shower which doubles as a steam room.
In addition, there is a dual person Jacuzzi bath with windows on three sides, so you can relax and enjoy the view by day. At night, the ceiling in this area is fitted with fibre-optic star lights to add to the ambience.
The attention to detail, eclectic lighting, exquisite decor and original works of art throughout this impressive property make this an unparalleled retreat for those who appreciate the finer things in life.
